WHITE, Lorne Lewis Peacefully on Monday October 4, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Cherished husband and friend of 48 years to Evelyn (nee Pickle). Beloved father of Richard and wife Lynn, Terry and wife Michelle, Tim and wife Robin. Dear son of the late John and Gladys White, dear son-in-law of the late Roland and Vera Pickle. Brother-in-law to Randy Pickle and his late wife Sonya of Oshawa. Brother to Borden and wife Pam of Georgetown, Arnold and wife Lillian of Brampton, Mary Knowlton and the late Clarence of Kingston and George of Seely’s Bay. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Special uncle to Sheila Rowe and husband Don of Mississauga, special friend to Tom and Gloria Echlin and Ellen Lee. Grandfather to Tim Jr., Brittany, Randy, Rachel and baby-to-be December 2004. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Uncle to Ryan and Jessica of Oshawa. Lorne was past owner of Argo Cleaners for over 30 years. Prior to retirement Lorne worked for IXL and Master Cleaners. Lorne was a huge dog lover and an avid boater. Visiting will be held at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 68 Giles Blvd. E. on Wednesday October 6, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. At Lorne’s request there will be no funeral service. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in Lorne’s memory may be made to the Essex County Humane Society. A tree will be planted in memory of Lorne White in the Morris Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.

In Memory of Lorne

When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
