The following are the latest results of Portage County Health Department inspections on licensed food establishments and other types of businesses, which the Stevens Point Journal will report monthly.
Badgerland and Midways LLC, 7275 Lake Thomas Road: April 28: No violations found.
Domino’s, 3033 Church St.: April 5: Four violations: No test kit available for measuring sanitizer concentrations; clean food pans stored without being air dried; wet mop stored in mop cart; current permit not posted.
Dosirak, 108 Division St.: April 18: 11 violations: Employee handling read-to-eat food with bare hands; packages of chicken gimbap held a room temperature (corrected during inspection); sanitizer not used according to label directions; wiping cloth sanitizer solutions stored on floor; packages of chicken katsu gimbap missing labeling information; radiance range at cooks’ line soiled; flooring in the walk-in freezer not cleaned frequently; filters and hood surfaces above cooks’ line have accumulation of dust and grease; excessive smoke and fumes in kitchen; screen door of kitchen door torn and in disrepair; floor throughout kitchen requires cleaning; ceiling ducts and adjacent surfaces soiled.
La Comida, 5110 Main St.: April 12: Four violations: Spray arm at prewashing sink for dish machine hangs below the floor rim and no air gap provided; glass tender cooler No. 2 not maintained in good repair; flooring near entrance to back dining room has areas in disrepair; light intensity in back kitchen very dim.
La Quinta Inn & Suites, 4917 Main St.: April 11: One violation: Biscuit gravy not cooled properly.
Los Victors Mexican Food California Style, 301 Division St.: April 12: Five violations: Sanitizer not used according to label instructions (corrected during inspection); back door open and screen door not used; screen at walk-up window torn and drive-thru window not provided with screen; light intensity above ware washing machine dim; drive-thru window cracked; current permit not posted in conspicuous area.
Qdoba Mexican Eats, 5347 U.S. 10 E.: April 12: Inspection not available.
SentryWorld Center, 601 N. Michigan Ave.: April 26: Seven violations: Several food items held in prep coolers more than 24 hours missing date marks; test kit not available for checking sanitizer concentration at manual ware washing sinks; interior of pizza prep cooler dirty; several bulk food storage containers in PJ’s kitchen not labeled; irreversible registering thermometer not provided for utensil surface temperatures at the dish machines in upper banquet kitchen field house kitchen and PJ’s bar; clean food pans stacked without being air dried; wet mop stored in mop sink.
Subway No. 105, 5601 Carrie Frost Drive: April 17: One violation: Permit not posted in conspicuous area.
Subway No. 106, 135 N. Division St.: April 3: Three violations: Infrared-type thermometer used to obtain food temperature; no certified food manager for establishment; spray arm of ware washing sink is leaking.

UWSP DeBot Center, 325 Isadore St.: April 25: 11 violations: Uncovered container of grated Parmesan cheese at Pizza & Penne serving line not protected from contamination; no sanitizer available at three-compartment ware washing sink in lower-level dish room; container of hand sanitizer stored on shelving unit above food pan liners in Upper DeBot storage room; hot water at handwashing sink fluctuates and is too cold; establishment does not have required plan for vacuum packaging root vegetables; sugar mixture, white chocolate morsels and brown sugar in lower-level bakery in unlabeled containers; single-service portion cups with no handles used to dispense croutons in lower DeBot Stefanos pizza area stored directly in food container (corrected during inspection); ice cream scoop at Sweets and Treats improperly stored in container of water not at proper temperature; clean metal and plastic food pans stacked together without being air-dried; single-service food containers not stored in original container, not protected from contamination (corrected during inspection); two-compartment sink near Seared & Served leaking; no handwashing signs provided at employee handwashing sink (corrected during inspection).
Wicked Willow, 1137 Main St.: April 6: Eight violations: Sanitizer not used according to label directions; pan of cooling chili stored on lowest shelf of shelving unit; no refrigerator thermometer in the chest freezer and upright freezer; air fryer not meant for industrial use; cutting board has excessive scoring and not easily cleanable; burners and surfaces of range dirty; flooring in kitchen has areas in disrepair; portable air conditioning unit improperly located and installed.
