Lt. Julie Sutton of the Ramona sheriff’s substation presents Don Sweet with a certificate of appreciation from San Diego County Sheriff William Gore for Sweet’s 16 years of service as a senior volunteer patrolman. The presentation was at a surprise 90th birthday party for Sweet at the San Vicente Golf Resort. Many other members from the sheriff’s substation and senior patrol attended, recognizing Sweet’s contributions to the department.
