Sad news, Devious Maids fans: the beloved Lifetime scripted show will not be returning for a fifth season, Deadline reported on Sept. 1. And just like that, our DVR lineups will never be the same.
Showrunner Eva Longoria, who has recently been working as a director on Jane the Virgin, took to Instagram to thank fans for all their support and give a shout-out to the talented cast and crew. “To all of our Devious fans, thank you for your support the past four seasons! I’m proud of this show and our amazing cast and crew #MondayNightsWontBeTheSame,” she wrote.
Leading ladies Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, and Roselyn Sanchez expressed similar sentiments on their respective social media profiles. Read on to see exactly what they had to say (spoiler: serious feels ahead!). Then, remember all the style lessons Devious Maids so fiercely taught us.
We lasted as long as we did because of you. #deviousarmy #DeviousMaids https://t.co/E2f0HwVk6A
